New Born Baby’s Family Visa

New born baby, with brand new passport, apply the family visa:
Employee = Person who has a working visa.
For the first credential for the child (born in China), we have following services:
B1. The parents of the child are foreigners
B2.One of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has the household registry of this municipal.

Paperwork list of China B1 and B2 visa service:
B1. The parents of the child are foreigners
*** If both of parents are foreigner, either of them has working residence permit, then the baby can apply the same length of the family residence permit directly in shanghai.
*** If both of parents are foreigner, none of them has working residence permit, then the baby can apply only 1 month visa for exiting and re-apply a new visa outside of China.
***This kind of child should apply for and go through the formalities of the alien visa or alien resident permit within 60 days since birth.
1. Baby's passport
2. Baby's shanghai original birth certificate
3. Father and Mother's passport and visa
4. Father and Mother's Shanghai Registration Form Of Temporary Residence (up to date) [ Sample ]
5. 2 Passport Photographs of baby (size 4.5cm*3.5cm)
6.Marriage certificate of parents (must be authenticated by Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the foreign country where it was issued
7. Employee's company letter to apply the family visa- with official stamp [ Sample ]
8. The company Business License[ Sample ], Enterprise Code License [ Sample ]and Approval Certificate[ Sample ] (only for foreign investment company)of the host organization

Service Cost:1000RMB/person (service fee)+ government fee (pay according to government receipt, around 400-800RMB)

B2.One of the parents is a Chinese citizen and has the household registry of this municipal.
*** If one of baby's parents is Chinese nationality, then the baby can apply only 1 month visa for exiting and after the baby come back with a new visa, use the Q1 service to get longer term residence permit.
***The formalities of this kind of child must be handled by both of the parents.

4. Father and Mother's Shanghai Registration Form Of Temporary Residence (up to date) [ Sample ]
5. 2 Passport Photographs of baby (size 4.5cm*3.5cm)
6.Marriage certificate of parents (must be authenticated by Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the foreign country where it was issued);If unmarried, the parentage testing report issued by China Judicial Forensic Institutions must be provided.
Normal Service takes: 8 Working Days
Service Cost:1000RMB/person (service fee)+ government fee (pay according to government receipt, around 400-800RMB)
Notice: New born baby need to apply the visa within 2 month after he/she born, if you are over the 2 month deadline, it will cause 1000RMB for the penalty.
